A fresh audio tape purportedly carrying his voice appeared in the social media in which the engineering-student-turned militant, Moosa, said that he was not representing Hizbul Mujahideen anymore.
Parvaiz had left home after an argument with his father, who wanted him to join a college while the son was interested in religious studies.
While confirming that the voice in the slideshow was that of Moosa, senior police officials did not rule out the possibility that the banned IS terror group was trying to create a base in the Valley.
